Grew up in Petoskey, Michigan. Graduated from Petoskey High School (1985) and the Honors College and James Madison College at Michigan State University (1989). Law degree from the University of Michigan Law School (1992). Established law practice in Petoskey in 1994. Have represented numerous individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, corporations, limited liability companies, schools, municipalities and other governmental bodies in connection with a variety of real estate matters including purchase and sale transactions, planning and zoning, landlord/tenant law, condominium law and development, and construction law and litigation. Formed Buyer's Broker of Northern Michigan, LLC and obtained Michigan Real Estate Broker's license in 2001. Member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA), the Real Estate Buyer Agency Council (REBAC), the National, Michigan and Emmet Association of Realtors. Accredited Buyer representative (ABR) and e-Pro certified internet professional. Married to a lovely and talented artist, Kim, with two adorable children, Max and Mamie.
