Introduction The Gazetteers formed in 2000 at Rob Christiansen and Jeannine Durfee's wedding at the National Aquarium in Baltimore, when Rob and Steve Silverstein discovered than Frank Boscoe was a musical free agent. Two years later came the album Territory Songs, and four years after that Landlocked!, featuring new addition Andrea McEwen. Because the band is split between Albany and Brooklyn, the Gazetteers do not perform live all that often; in fact, the number is so small we're somewhat embarrassed to report it. Sometimes just the Albany contingent (Frank and Andrea) performs as the Gazetteers. 2006 has been our busiest year, however, with the new album, two more in the pipeline, and a featured spot at the Athens Popfest.
