Introduction	I love being a wife and mother! There is not a better 'job' out there! Growing up I loved watching and reading Little House on the Prairie and found the time to be much simpler than what we 'have' today. Families ate together and played together, and children weren't playing video games on a bright, sunny day. In following after the little girl I 'grew up with', I am trying to move our family to a slower paced, less materialistic way of life ~ to a family focused on God and making what I can on my own. I try and grow the vegetables we use most, canning and freezing fresh whenever I can, and making our food from scratch whenever possible. I love to coupon and it has become a game to see how much I can save at the grocery store (to date my best savings from coupons alone is $158 and paying $132!) So follow along on the ins and outs of our crazy little life :)
