Introduction	I am Dutch, married with four adult children and six grandchildren. Next year my husband and I will be forty years married. We both come from 'broken' homes and married without illusions. Now we are really proud of how we worked through some difficult times and we are both very happy in our marriage. Neither my husband and I live in the country of our birth, but we live where we do by choice. I do miss my brothers and sisters and I'm quite homesick at times. I have serious health issues and had an amputation in 2011.
Interests	Writing: stories, poems and at the moment a book. Reading, Embroidery ( free style ) Tapestry, Sculpting, Studying, Knitting
Favorite Movies	Any that have Tom Hanks in it and to a lesser extend any that have Merryl Streep in it. Saying that, The Lord of the Rings is possibly my favourite film and neither of them are in it. I can't list them, there are too many
Favorite Music	Classical; Mozart, Alninoni, Strauss, Vivaldi, Handel, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff. Contemporary; Toby Mac, The Newsboys, Audrey Assad, Bebo Norman, Casting Crowns, Third Day
Favorite Books	Too many and it changes, Daughter of Smoke and Bones, Inheritance series, Out of the silent planet, Flabbergasted, The Lord of the Rings. The Narnia series, Dark magician trilogy. My favourite author at the moment is Lainy Taylor.
