About Me

A single mother of two, I consider myself secondly (after being a mom, of course) a poet. My poetry is drawn from my own life experiences, thoughts and feelings. I've always been afraid of criticism due to the personal nature of my various works and, for the majority of my life, I've only ever shared what I've written with those close to me. Words Much Like Poetry has been an exercise in courage and inspiration. I sincerely hope it brings a measure of that and more to others. Enjoy!
