Introduction I'm one of many women of color; who are pursuers of countless truths inherent in an array of issues. A good debate and the sharing of ideas and points of view can be intriguing as well as challenging. The backdrop of all this also consists of varied and memorable musical accompaniments for this grand symphony that we call life. Stevie Wonder's timeless album "Songs in the Key Of Life" dramatizes this concept so well. There are two quotes that also speak to the latter. "Music is what feelings sound like"–Author Unknown and "Music is your own experience, your thoughts, your wisdom. If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn." -Charlie Parker. The basic theme of this blog, however, is to provide a forum for various perspectives on the many challenging topics/events facing us today as well as interesting cultural/entertainment features. It may also become a means of problem solving or constructing theories as we debate them. The latter; I realize is an ambitious endeavor!
