| Introduction | When we all do our small part we can change the big picture. That's my motto for living.
This blog is about my rural life and finding ways to make it a little greener each and every day. A few years ago I started my own recycling project, FatBottomBags. What started simply as a craft project to keep my own accumulated plastic bags from making their way into the wastestream is now a movement of it's own. With over 25 contributing families, FatBottomBags has kep[t nearly 7000 plastic bags out of the landfills by turning these "disposables" into reusables! Other interests for me include organic gardening, marine mammal stranding response, backyard birds,wildlife and orca watching. |
