Introduction I am a Jewish mother, wife and grandmother who has experienced the paranormal in my home. I have 3 children that are grown and 1 grandchild who is a very cute and smart 3 year old boy! You can tell that I'm not prejudiced at all... I have served in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman and worked as a Medic for San Mateo County in the 1980's. I love the medical field and I have also worked as a Dialysis Tech, a Certified Medical Assistant, and a Birth Doula. I had to give up working due to becoming disabled by multiple sclerosis. My illness is pretty stable now and I am planning on trying to go back to school to become a Lay Midwife with a B.S. Degree. So with G-d's help I will reach my goal.
Interests I love to sew, cook, read books, magazines, etc. I love to garden but rarely get to do it anymore. I recently took up the study of Yoga, and Qi Gong (pronounced Chi Gong)I love to meditate and pray in the Jewish style called "hitbodedut", which means casually conversing with G-d in your own native language. Although I do enjoy classic Jewish prayer from the Siddur.
Favorite Movies OK, I'm going to date myself by saying this, but "Out of Africa" with Meryl Streep & Robert Redford is one of my favorite romantic movies. Also I loved a movie called "The Year of Living Dangerously" with Sigourney Weaver & Mel Gibson (before he turned into an anti-semite)...LOL I also like Israeli and Indie films too many to name them all. I am a very picky movie goer.
Favorite Music I love Israeli Folk music, I love vintage Rock & Roll, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Ten Years After, 50's Rock is also on my list as well as Country music from the 50's, 60's & 70's. I also love Classical music.
Favorite Books Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass was my fave as a child. I also loved "Rebecca" by Daphne DuMarier and her other best seller, "The House on the Strand". I love the classics, and of course I love Torah and anything good on the subject of Torah.
