Introduction Author Biography: Utterly failing English in the 10th grade he quit school and left home hitchhiking back and fourth across the country never remaining long in one place. He slipped into Navy and was ejected for too young for service. His discharge read ‘For good and sufficient reasons non derogatory. Foot loose and restless he floated around the country working many different jobs. He was drafted in1961 and signed up for an additional year serving in the Second Armored Division. After the ‘Missiles of October and the advent of the Vietnam war he had enough. Depression took hold and he sought release with Alcohol and drugs which only aggravated the depression and he wasn’t able to stay put for long. At 30, by a miracle of God he was saved and the deliverance from alcohol and drugs was immediate, but he still suffered from depression for 25 years. He wrote his first short story titled ‘The Biscuit Run’ because of someone’s challenge and immediately loved the tightly wound short story format. Continuing to write, he has written 23 short stories. His life adventures are every bit as raw as his writing style. An avid biker he still rides motorcycles at 71.

Favorite Movies I don't really have favorites, if I had to pick one, it would be the HBO miniseries 'Band Of Brothers'
Favorite Music Southern Gospel, especially the Home Coming series.
Favorite Books The Grapes of Wrath(Steinbeck), Lucifer's Hammer(Niven and Pournelle), The Stand (King)
