About Me

I'm a midwesterner by birth, education and temperment. I recieved my BA in Political Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, an MA in Political Science from the University of Illinois, and an MA in Political Philosophy from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. For several years I managed the late, lamented Cleveland Park Bookshop in DC. I was working on an intellectual biography of A.J. Balfour, at least in theory.
