Introduction I love where life is leading me.
Interests Justice and liberty for all. (Can't remember where I've heard that before...) Pointing out injustices and helping rectify them. Learning the true basics of being an authentic human being. How to relate to myself, my fellow humans, the earth, and the cosmos in a respectful and healthy manner. Learning basics like how to make a fire without a lighter, what wild plants are edible, how to make a shelter. Also, how to be part of facilitating the huge global change that's on it's way, and surviving it....
Favorite Movies Trudell Powwow Highway Where the Spirit Lives Phenomenon Powder Paper Moon Practical Magic Smoke Signals The US vss John Lennon The Hairdresser's Husband Pan's Labyrinth
Favorite Music WHAT!? How can there be "favorite"? It's whatever filters its way into my consciousness at any given moment, like my own personal soundtrack. This morning it's traffic, Old Crow Medicine Show's "Wagon Wheel" and CSNY's "Woodstock." Also love the rhythm of rain on leaves, cricket concertos, birdsong symphonies, and the sound of a river over rocks
Favorite Books The Bible...as one explanation of why this current dominant culture is so destructive. People who follow that book tend to practice random acts of genocide, murder, patriarchy, environmental devastation, and all-around meanness - all the while thinking they're doing "God's will." I like Derrick Jensen's books! endgame, a language older than words My honey, Eugene, has a book of poetry, "Tremble in Fear Before the Soft, Pudgy Indian" hahahahaha "Reclaiming the Sacred" by Winona LaDuke "Illahe" Kay Atwood "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" Dee Brown "Mad Bear" Doug Boyd "Prodigal Summer" and "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver

How is an ankle unlike a consequence?

Never mind these stupid questions. Let's ask OURSELVES questions, like, "What are we willing to do to save Earth, our children, and our grandchildren? When are we going to get down to doing it?"
