| Introduction | 18 years ago I went out looking for a Cardigan. I lived in California and at that time was not into showing dogs....I had show horses. That is where I met my first corgi. I had made a many phone and internet inquires about cardigans but could never get anyone to talk to me so I decided to go to a dog show. Were I was told that cardigans "WERE NOT" good family dogs. That couldn't have been farther from the truth. So after many tries and many disappointments I finally gave into the fact that I would probably never get a cardigan. So I found a Pembroke. I had pems for about 10 years when I finally got the opportunity to get a cardigan puppy. That was all it took. 7 years and 5 Champions later. I have to say I love this breed. They are our fun loving, FANTASTIC FAMILY dogs first and show dogs second. |
