About me

Introduction I've always been interested in history and particularly of WWII. My interest in it decidely morphed into a passion when I was influenced by a WWII veteran that "gave" me his story. And it was because of him, that I became involved in researching and restoring WWII jeeps. My first jeep "Warren Peace" is a 1945 GPW. It took three years to make it driveable after a frame off restoration. And it still isn't perfect, nor is it complete! But it will be...one day. The best part of the restoration came after it was completed: I had the honor, not once, but TWICE, to accompany that influential veteran in that jeep during the Jacksonville, FL Veteran's Day Parade. Rest in peace, my friend, and know that your legacy still remains.
