| Introduction | Born and raised in New York City, Garin attended the High School of Art & Design studying traditional realism with Max Ginsburg and Irwin Greenberg as an early member of the Old Hat Club. With continuing traditional studies at the Art Students League he was awarded a scholarship, attending and graduated Pratt Inst. in 1983. Finding his way as a professional artist, Garin has been an award winning Illustrator, exhibited Fine Artist and nationally recognized Muralist. In addition to his artistic pursuits Garin has built and runs Carriage House Art Studios where artists young and old participate in open studio workshops, apprenticeship programs and professional "Visiting Artist" collaborative. Committed Father of 2 grown amazing human beings and living with an amazing woman, sharing love, hope and aspirations. |
