I am the quintessential Midwestern girl, albeit a liberal one, from Rapid City, South Dakota. A recent graduate of St. Olaf College in the lovely Northfield of Minnesota, my passion for Japanese politics took me to Osaka, Japan to research human rights for a year as a Fulbright Fellow before I head to law school.
