| Introduction | Originally from Ledyard, Connecticut I now reside on Massachusett's North Shore where I just graduated from Montserrat College of Art's illustration department. Back in March I found out about this "painting a day" phenomenon that is all over the internet. I thought that it was a really interesting idea so I decided to try it out. I ended up loving it and continued to do one every day until May (you can see all of these paintings on my main website: alyssawatters.com). I still feel that doing a painting a day is very important and I try to make it a top priority, but I also found that doing one of these every single day takes me away from ever doing any of my big paintings, which I definitely missed.
