About Me

I live in a city small enough that you can walk 20 minutes in any direction and hit farmland or boreal forest. We have two Tim Horton's, about a dozen car dealerships and as many churches, but no movie theatre or other source of entertainment. I tolerate my noisy and nosy neighbours. I've been my own boss as a translator for over 20 years and love my work. After being a single mom for 19 years, I have come to terms with being an empty-nester. I am also a recovering alcoholic whose life is being saved by AA.
