Introduction | Debbie Buchanan Engle is a professional artist, working primarily in painting, sculpture and photography. Originally from rural Winn Parish, she has lived in North Louisiana for 20 years. She is an outspoken advocate for women's rights, legal reform, and issues of poverty & homelessness. Her art is largely influenced by these issues. She is currently working to bridge the gap between artists & arts/business groups by creating productive dialogue, and introducing contemporary creativity and leadership ideas to the Shreveport/Bossier arts community. |
