Introduction Hi everyone, I’m Abby Nemec Bloxsom, Academic Program Manager for Post University’s Equine Business Management program. I’ve been teaching and sharing my passion for equine at Post University since 2008. Before joining Post, I operated an equine consulting business for several years, teaching hoof care and horse care clinics locally and on the road. I’ve taught riding and unmounted horse care for more than 25 years with a focus on developing effective communication and repairing damaged owner-horse relationships. I received my bachelor's degree in theatre (children's theatre concentration) from the University of New Hampshire, and have also taken business and science courses at Northwestern Connecticut Community College. I earned my M.Ed. from Post University and received private tutoring in farriery from William Winchester, CJF. I live in Colebrook, Conn., with my children and a small menagerie of furred and feathered creatures. My leisure time is occupied with (more) equestrian activities, sewing, knitting, gardening, and spending time with family. You can read my blog posts here.
