About Me
Recently retired from a 27-year career in Real Estate Management I now have the time to devote time and energy to creating works of art. I enjoy creating paintings and drawings while making someone happy with the results. All animals, but especially horses, fascinated me at an early age. I enjoyed interacting with them and embracing their power and spirit. Endless hours of daydreaming, studying and observing the horse helped me to develop the skills I needed to sketch and paint this mystical animal. I have enjoyed creating my own style and use of oil, acrylic, chalk pastels, and charcoal. Sunrises, sunsets, and rays of sunlight streaming through the clouds and trees "owns me" and sparks images for new paintings. I paint the subjects that are true to my heart, and I definitely believe the words of Sir Winston Churchill. "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man."
