Introduction	I've been doing the teaching thing for 19 years (what!) in many capacities: computer teacher, academic support/Title I, long term substitute, first grade teacher, and, finally, reading interventionist. As an interventionist, I have supported readers in grades K-5. I believe that the teachers have a very challenging job, addressing the academic, social, and emotional needs of children and guiding them towards independence. I enjoy making products that support best practices in teaching: Social-Emotional Learning & strong teacher-student relationships Growth Mindset Science of Reading: direct, explicit, cumulative, multi-sensory phonics instruction; looking at the research and how it connects to the realities of the classroom and small group Differentiated & Scaffolded Instruction: Meeting students where they are and providing supports as necessary. I am constantly growing and learning about how kids learn best!
