| Introduction | Thanks for stopping by! My name is Diane and I live and garden in Zone 8b in the beautiful South Texas hill country. Two of my favorite pastimes are gardening and cooking. Since retiring from the catering business/café ownership in 2007, I’ve been blessed to be able to devote much of my free time to these two hobbies. I’ve been gardening for about 24 years and I received my Master Gardener certification from the Texas AgriLife Extension Service in 2008. I began this blog in late summer of 2009 at the encouragement of my dear friend Shirley as a way to document my gardening experiences and to share with my family and friends what I do with the produce that I’m able to grow. It’s been (and continues to be) an incredible and fun experience for me. If you'd like to share your gardening experiences, I’d love to hear from you.
