Introduction Let's see, I am a wife and mother; Two boys, 16 and 11, and a little girl who is just over one year. I am the MOM TAXI, or MOXI, and I am busy, hence; BusyMoxi. I am blessed to be able to stay home with my baby girl and be here for my boys when they get home from school. I am the Fundraiser Chairperson for my son's Boy Scout Troop, that keeps us busy also. I went to college for nursing, and completed half my core classes, but finances have not permitted me to complete that dream, YET, and now it has expanded to becoming a Nurse Midwife. I LOVE learning. Pinterest is my current obsession. I love to see all the wonderful things I could try, and will add a few blogs from the things I have tried and perhaps pin a few of my own things.....That is what Been There, Tried That is all about!
Interests My kids, reading, music, knitting, quilting, genealogy, watching movies, cooking and volunteering, catching up with family and friends on Facebook AND Pinterest.
Favorite Movies I love so many, but my absolute favorite would have to be Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock & Nicole Kidman. I also LOVE all Harry Potter movies and enjoyed the Twilight Series.
Favorite Music Again, I LOVE so many different varieties it is hard to choose. So here is what I DON'T like. Hard rap (with the cussing and the descrimination and the horrible lyrics about women), and I am not fond of Chamber music, it kind of puts me into a DEEP slumber.
Favorite Books Still, too many to list. I like murder mysteries, romances, historical novels, and, well, just about anything with words. One of my favorite authors is Patricia Cornwell and her Kay Scarpetta Series. (I don't read horror, cause I can't sleep for fear of zombies creeping into the house at 2am.!)I have also read the entire series of Harry Potter to my son's and will probably do it again when my daughter is older. I read the Twilight Series before I watched a single one of the movies. TOO MANY!
