| Introduction | 'Ilm al-insaan (علم الانسان) is the Arabic term for anthropology, literally "knowledge of people." I'm an Anthropologist and Muslim convert, and hold an M.A. in Sociocultural Anthropology with a specialization in New Media, Islam, and identity. My work has been published online and most recently in The Arab-American Handbook (Cune Press). Currently I work and study in Doha, Qatar on a grant through Georgetown University. |
