Thanks for viewing. I hope to include some light-hearted items in this space, but let me tell you about my main topic.

I believe the news media are valuing "full disclosure" less and less. This is true not only of news outlets reporting about the corporate world that now owns them. The political and ideological leanings of groups that claim to practice "news reporting" are also important.

I don't care that some media outlets are conservative.
I care WHEN THEY WON'T ACKNOWLEDGE IT.

Some conservative news outlets have even labelled themselves "the most watched" and "the most powerful name in news". My response is that those in power deserve to be checked and questioned by a democratic public. This is true especially for powerful media groups who claim to serve the public good and should know the value of transparency and openness.

I'll try to discuss the conservative media and other topics under the following guidelines:

  • No conspiracy theories
  • No demonizing
  • No mind-reading
