About Me

I'm a forty-something psychologist living in small-town Ohio with my wonderful husband and our cats Smokey, Seafus, Gremmy and Pickles. For the most part, I blog about design and the visual arts. My primary qualification for doing so is that I have no education, experience, or background whatsoever in design or the visual arts. No, really. I firmly believe this allows me to bring a fresh perspective when I look at, post and write about these topics. I have no pre-suppositions or structure to work within. I have no one to impress and I'm not sellin' nothing. (OK, I run some ads. But you know what I mean.) I can do as I like, and that's the way I like it.

I don't know what it will commemorate, but it will surely be made of chocolate.
