| Introduction | This was written PRE-MOTHERHOOD - being a mom to my little one comes before all of this now! Oh well, I don't feel like re-writing this: I have always loved all things crafty, artsy & creative but I understand ebb and flow in life...there have been years when the creative well was dry for me & I found that creativity was not just about creating objects/performing pastimes but creating beauty from the everyday moments in life. I love to scrapbook, make collages, play bass guitar, crochet & hike (time allowing!). I love lazing on the sofa, listening to very loud rock music or the quiet sounds of a city in the early morning. I love the most heartwrenching documentaries but am not above watching mindless TV. Yin yang, keep it all balanced. I believe in most things in moderation, excluding the stuff you should do excessively & stuff you should not do at all (I hate "shoulds" too but yes, some things are better off undone...) But mostly, I love my life & my loved ones. I aim to be a positive energy in the universe, cuz daggummit there is too much negativity to cancel out. Live every moment deliciously; these ARE the good ol days. |
