| Introduction | I grew up 50 miles from New York City, and a Mets fan. We summered in Vermont, so I got interested in the Red Sox about 1965. Of course, I rooted for them in '67, we could hear them on the radio on WTIC in Hartford. They were my number 1 team from June 16, 1977 until 2000, when I tried to get a weekend season ticket plan to Fenway. I wasn't feeling 2 seats in separate rows, both with a pole in front of me, and have been going to Shea for the last 7 seasons. That makes me a fan with divided loyalties, and it's served me pretty well, except in 1986. When I'm not obsessing about baseball and music, I'm a business analyst and Programmer in Connecticut. I like to garden, practice golf, and hang out with my family. |
