| Introduction | When Josh Stevens moved to NYC from Ohio in 2009 to begin formally studying Menswear at the Fashion Institute of Technology, he knew not a soul and had nothing more than a 98-pound suitcase (crammed with everything from dress shirts to dishes) and a dream... While at F.I.T., he was voted President of the Menswear Club and selected as one of 15 to design a collection to represent his school in the annual F.I.T. vs. Parsons show. Upon graduation, Josh cut his teeth interning under Olivier Theyskens at Theysken’s Theory before beginning a tailoring apprenticeship with 3rd-generation, Italian master tailor, Mike Trotta. In the media, Stevens’ aesthetic has been described as “rock n’ roll” and “laid-back" with a "nonchalant elegance." |
