About Me

As a child watching my grandmother quilt inspired me to learn more about quilting. As much as I love all the vintage quilt patterns, I soon learned I didn't have the time or attention span to complete full size quilts myself. Now I enjoy them through magazines and quilt shows and seeing the work of others on the HGTV Quilting and Needlework board. I became more interested in smaller quilted projects such as wallhangings or craft type fabric projects. I enjoy crafts of all types, but am more drawn to embroidery. Therefore my love of crazy quilting begins. I have not learned to crochet or knit. Maybe that will come someday. I have done some needle tatting and would love to learn how to shuttle tat.
