| Introduction | I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on September 21, 2009. Talk about about mind blowing, I still sometimes have a hard time believing this is happening to me and my family. One of my favorite movies is Apollo 13. One reason is because I just think Ed Harris is too cool. The other reason is they are just flying toward the moon when all of the sudden a little pogo oscillation and dome failures caused them to entirely revamp the mission and figure out a way to get back home alive. As failure was not an option, all involved with the mission had to think outside the norm to get everyone back to earth. And that's kind of where I feel I am now. Our life got blown off track, but failure is not an option, so I'm going to do whatever it takes to safely complete this mission. |
