About me

Introduction Ann Wallace holds a BA with a concentration in Art from the University of Massachusetts, a J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School, and an LLM from George Washington University School of Law. After law school, she commenced her career as a Criminal Attorney for the United States Department of Justice. She continued to pursue art by attending classes taught at the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, Maryland. In 2001, she became a Yellow Barn Instructor teaching drawing and painting with charcoal, oils, acrylics and pastels. She continues to teach still life and portrait painting classes for the Yellow Barn at Plaza Artist Materials in Rockville, Md. In addition to demonstrating painting techniques to her students, she frequently is called upon to demonstrate painting at various events at the Yellow Barn and elsewhere. As a teacher for the Yellow Barn, she has organized fund-raisers to support cancer treatment and research and to assist the Yellow Barn community. Her paintings and prints are in private collections throughout the country and on permanent exhibition in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States Department of Justice.
