About Me

I’m the FoodGuru who is in so way, shape or form, athletic; and in no way, shape or form, into “health food.” I eat food ‘cause I like it – not necessarily because it’s good for me (though it certainly doesn’t hurt). My food goals are to come in under a certain number of calories a day, with a certain number of servings of fruits, vegetables, calcium and water. Try to talk to me about the nutritional content of food beyond that and I’m fairly lost. I am on the FoodGuru panel to speak for the calorie conscious! As a former Weight Watcher leader and lifetime dieter, I am always on the prowl for things that will taste good without running through my daily allotment of calories in a single serving. I have learned and am constantly seeking new tricks to help me meet my diet goals without causing my tastebuds to shrivel up and fall off out of boredom.
