Introduction The untoward automotive stylings of a fellow who fell only to rise again in re-enacted battles of the American Revolution. Inadvertently sprang his girlfriend from solitary in a Maine county jail. Ran solo into a burning New York barn only to discover the livestock had found their own way out. Raced ingloriously at Moroso and Lime Rock. Was a columnist for Esquire, GQ, Men's Journal and the NY Sun. Stole through the night, ducking security, to stand alone on Little Round Top, in Emerson's garden, aboard the USS Constellation and, most memorably, in the theater box in which Lincoln was shot. Awoke in a remote Burmese pagoda just as dawn lit the face of a road-movie Buddha who'd also been sitting there in the dark. Met the Interior Minister of Tibet when the fellow called at the side door of his Maryland home and owned the '27 Buick Phaeton in which Sir Lawrence traversed Arabian sands.
