Introduction | Today, as I write this, I am 53, living in the fine borough of the Bronx in New York City with my husband of 20-odd years and our two children who are not so much children anymore ... but yet, not quite adults fully either ... an enchanting 20 year old daughter off at college in Ohio, and a 14 year old son in the midst of 8th grade and baseball season. I believe in a back-to-pure food philosophy and overall healthy lifestyle ... local, community, organic, all that good stuff ... and I have an ease and appreciation for all things digital. I am the youngest of 11 siblings, and we are the result of an Italian-Irish passionate combo. Keep up with my blog, and you'll find out more. |

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
No, I don't think forks evolved from spoons. Perhaps from sticks or knives. As a cook, I sometimes use a knife to pick up a food by poking it as I would with a fork. A spoon has a completely different mentality as well as functional use.
