About Me

A couple of years ago I left a career in high-tech corporate communications and took some time off. I took advantage of that time to explore the many things that make me happy. One of those was the exploration of the culinary world. I was first fascinated by the myriad of salt in the world, and that fascination convinced me to attend culinary school to start from the ground up, learn about the facets of the food world and get the professional training like a pro. My interest continues to grow today from learning about restaurateuring, to an obsession with food photography and learning about different foods in different cultures around the world. Today, my quest is to find a permanent spot in the culinary world exploring and writing about it. I hope you join me and stay along for the ride.
