| Introduction | Mr G is apparently a journalist, bedroom DJ and cantankerous old git who has lived in Barlby, a small village in an unfashionable part of Yorkshire, since early 2003. He is rumoured to have some connection with ‘Da Barlby Massive’ - but says he is a little less massive since going on a diet. Usually his tongue is firmly in cheek but even when it isn’t, all opinions expressed here are his own and not necessarily those of his employer, partner or cat. There’s no special point or agenda behind the Yorkshire Bitter blog (formerly known as ‘Views from the arse end of Yorkshire’), it’s just a place where Mr G can keep an occasional diary, take the piss out of his surroundings and let off steam about things in the news. |
