Introduction	"PatientGuard" is a collective handle and others contribute to the blogs through that handle as passive or active correspondents. Its a world-wide network and has USA LINKS
Interests	The interest of the Birmingham and USA Collective Blog Group is in setting people free from systems and consiousnesses which tend to oppress them and narrow down their growth and life chances. That includes current ways people in mental health contexts are seen through systematised and innaccurate angles by Govt's or other agencies who cheapen or ration treatment options. We are Pro Patient Choices of treatments and feel Patients must lead on the story of healing they contruct after they have been helped beyond crisis stages . We do not think current mental health or social systems reflect the real needs of a large number of human beings to get well or more functional with contexts of individual empathic therapeutic help. There is a long way to go on this road. We are not anti-drug as long as the patient chooses this road and is offered other human options they make supported and informed decisions about. We take the position there are far too many bureaucracies and admin classes surrounding MH "patients" unfortunately, and not enough direct therapeutic communities with various ways for damaged people to build their lives into creativities they can actually emotionally afford to become ...
