Introduction	I am a widow with five amazing, caring, strong, and very outgoing little children. I am learning to love every moment with them, good or bad. We laugh, we cry, but most importantly we have a great time. In an instant, everything we had ever hoped for, planned for, and dreamed about was taken away, through the loss of their dad, and my husband, who was my best friend. He was my rock and my security. Together we have learned to rise above the sadness and enjoy and cherish each day in our lives. Just because we may be faced with a road block in our path of life, it doesnt mean we give up and stop living, we just need find a way around it, find our detour. In most cases it can put us on a much brighter path where we have a greater understanding and appreciation for life.
