| Introduction | I am a NEWLY 30-year old Canadian girl (hmmm... Maybe I'll have to start calling myself a woman since I'm now in my 30s). I was involved in a terrible car accident Aug '06 while I was parked on the shoulder (ironically was in my car, on the phone with the police dispatcher reporting that I was just hit from behind) of Canada's busiest highway (Hwy 401) when I was hit at 120 km/hr by another car. I spent weeks unable to move as one of my legs was crushed and since then, I've been struggling yet extremely determined to get to the best, most fit version of me possible. I'm even learning to run now! I'm making 2009 THE year that I truly change my life with both my weight (on Weight Watchers) and my fitness. |
