Introduction	I am a mom who got a late start at motherhood and I enjoy my children greatly. I was very ill for a long time (years) before I received an adequate diagnosis. I am trying (sometimes with great difficulty) to balance a life I want to have with the limitations autoimmunity places on me. I think the hardest part of all is learning how to eat again. Wow, who would have thought food could be such a burden at times. I am on a quest to change that for me.
