About me

Location Vancouver, BC, Canada
Introduction Although I've been drawing since I was a kid, having decided that I was going to be a comic book artist when I grew up, I've actually lived a life fairly devoid of drawing. After a failed attempt at art school I slowly found my way into graphic arts where I've lingered on and off for most of my adult life. I now work as a graphic artist in Vancouver at a local print shop mostly using Illustrator and Photoshop. One day in November 2014 I got a pressure sensitive stylus and drawing re-entered my life. I have been working in pastels as well but the iPad Pro and Apple Pencil are my tools and Procreate is my default app. I'm excited to be drawing again and thrilled to be back in the land of the living. I can honestly say that this technology has helped me re-find my passion for drawing, or as I prefer——doodling. I can't say enough about the iPad Pro and Pencil——by far the best stylus I have used. If you poo-poo digital drawing or painting because it doesn't feel right and have yet to try the iPad Pro with the new Pencil then you really need to set your assessment aside until you do. If you have other problems with digital art then I am afraid I can't help you.
