Hello! Welcome.
Years ago, when we moved into our house, I would often go out on the back porch in the evening and see hundreds of fireflies resting in the trees and shrubs in our back yard. I thought they were so beautiful and magical -- like a visit from the fairies -- thus the name of my blog. Sad to say, they don't visit anymore -- too much development I suppose -- but I remember and miss them.
I'm never happier than when spending time with my family & friends, making things (knitting, crocheting, embroidering), cooking something good to eat, and wandering around my bower ^v^.
