| Introduction | Hilary Reeves has been an associate editor at the Business Examiner since May of 2006. A member of the newspaper's editorial reporting team, she covers business law and legislation, retirement, investing, financial services, retail and hospitality, and residential real estate. Hilary is a Pierce County native. Born in Tacoma, she graduated from Sumner High School before attending the University of Washington in Seattle. She graduated with a degree in editorial journalism, with a minor in the comparative history. She spent three years working at The Daily of the University of Washington as a reporter, copy editor, and online editor. Hilary came to the BE from the Port Orchard Independent, where she spent two years working as a staff reporter covering politics and government, education and social issues. Before joining the staff at the Independent, She interned at the Enumclaw Courier-Herald. Hilary is a classical pianist, and enjoys reading, European travel, cooking and wine. She lives in West Seattle with her husband Kurt and their cat, Henry. |
