Introduction Diana Rico (www.dianarico.com) is a critically acclaimed author (KOVACSLAND: A BIOGRAPHY OF ERNIE KOVACS), internationally published arts journalist (ARTnews, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, GQ, Mother Jones, many others), book and magazine editor, curator, and award-winning documentary producer-writer (E! True Hollywood Stories, A&E Biography). Her TV documentaries have been broadcast in 70 million homes nationally and 140 million internationally. Diana has also worked as the Art & Architecture Writer of the L.A. Daily News; the Art Critic of NPR station KCRW-FM in L.A.; Editor-in-Chief of International Documentary magazine; and the literary curator for SOMOS in Taos. She has been interviewed by Charlie Rose, Larry King, and Good Morning America. Diana is currently at work on THE WOMAN WHO FELL TO EARTH: AN IMAGINED LIFE OF ANA MENDIETA, a magical-realist book based on the real life story of the controversial 1970s "earth body" artist Ana Mendieta.
