About Me
Eric, my sweetie, husband of 2 years and partner-in-crime of almost 10 years passed away on St. Patty's Day, due to side effects of the chemotherapy medication to help him beat his leukemia.
There wasn't that much advice out there for twenty-something cancer patients and their caregivers, and there's even less advice out there for 25-year old widows. So now, I am trying to pick up the pieces and figure out where I'm gonna go from here.
This is a blog of our experience with cancer and his bone marrow transplant. I'm not writing here anymore but have decided to keep the past entries up in the hopes that others who are about to face cancer treatment or a bone marrow transplant can read and find something they can relate to.
