| Introduction | My articles appear in major publications in Canada, the US and the UK. I have written about everything from philosophy in France to elephants in Africa. I grew up in San Francisco, where I got accustomed to beautiful surroundings and acquired a taste for European culture. University years in Berkeley supplied the politics and philosophy. I have written about Greek politics and culture from Athens, with articles in the San Francisco Chronicle, Maclean's Magazine and The Globe and Mail and the Toronto Star. I have also created and narrated radio documentaries on Canadian public radio. In France, I have written about museums, food, philosophy cafes, grand hotels and memories of the war years. My writing on health and relationships has appeared in women's magazines in the US (Cosmo) and Canada (Chatelaine, Flare, Fashion). My travel articles have appeared in NUVO, Doctor's Review,Conde Nast Traveller, Spa Finder and major Canadian and US newspapers. I have written about architecture in San Francisco and Montreal, and covered film festivals in Toronto for Agence France Presse. |
