| Introduction | I am a maternity photographer who has been profoundly influenced by my clients. After 15 years of photographing pregnant women and children, I have finally come out with my first book, Portraits of Pregnancy: The Birth of a Mother, which is a compilation of their stories and my photographs documenting their transformative journey to motherhood. Penny Simkin wrote the forward, and Hugo Kugaya wrote the stories. This blog is about my own journey as a photographer and a first-time book writer which has been fun, some times funny, often challenging but always rewarding.
