| Introduction | My background is computer software. After 17 years as a loyal faithful employee, the company was sold and I was laid off. I started my own software company. At first, things went great. Eventually, we found ourselves competing against large corporations with multi-million dollar budgets...SO...back to working for someone else. Company lost a large contract...laid off again! I worked hard. I gave my employers everything I had, 50-60 hours per week, 6-7 days per week. Now, I work for myself.
