Introduction	I have long been interested in wine. Even in my early twenties I paid attention and tried many new things, developing my palate. In my late 20's and 30's I attended tastings, began to read and travel to wine destinations to taste. I continue to do so but now I have added a more formal education; George Brown Wine Specialist Certificate & WSET Advanced and now as a Diploma student. What I have found most interesting about this is that I have tried many wines that I otherwise would not have tried and that I could not help but reevaluate the wine I had just tasted once I found out the price. I mean if you thought it was a pleasant wine, then it was much more of a positive judgement at $12.00 than $72.00 because you would expect that to knock your socks off. Anyway, this seemed natural for others too, so I started sharing with friends when I felt that something was a good deal or comparative to a higher priced option.
